Tasting Notes
Palate
On the palate a devilish delight of desiccated coconut, is enveloped in a ganache of dark chocolate, with a hint of mint. It is delicate and alluring, a match made in poetic heaven, Enticing, but unforgiving in its demand for your attention.

The colour is intense in its depth and strength. LWE Shiraz is made to be savoured, shared, cellared and celebrated at any stage of its life with family and friends, old or new! With careful cellaring this Barossa Shiraz will last twenty-five years or more!
Aroma
As the wine flows into the glass aromas of Crème Brule, pepper and cigar box filter through combined with a heady mix of coffee, toffee and freshly squeezed mulberry; the smell of summer days playing amongst the branches of the mulberry tree, purple stained hands and clothes. A child’s summer bliss; a parent’s disgruntled love!

Vintage Notes
Growing Season
Vintage 2015 produced excellent wines. It began with a wet Winter followed by a very dry growing season with less than half the average rainfall. Spring was warmer than average leading to an earlier budburst and early vintage. Summer brought average temperatures, ensuring the dry conditions were not stressful to the vines, and a slow even ripening ensued. Quality is brilliant, certainly one of the highlights in recent years.
